President: Cliff Kittle

While attending the US Naval Academy, Cliff developed a deep love for his country. After graduation, he served seven years in the Marine Corps attaining the rank of Captain. The duties and responsibilities an officer has to the men and women he leads has stayed with Cliff during his 30 years in private sector business. His experience leading men who returned from Vietnam, with the problems our current veteran are or will experience, has created a deep understanding of needs of veterans experiencing loss of hope due to addiction to drugs and alcohol as well as feeling that no one understand or cares about them. Because of this experience, he is motivated by the desire to help veterans conquer the depression and addiction associated with the experiences of combat. These men and women must regain hope if they are to become contributors to society and realize the potential they possess.

Cliff is a proven leader, with the discipline to do what is right for the homeless individual. This is known as "doing the right thing" and is the keystone to leadership. rather than what might be best for one's self.

He has a proven record of successful vision creation, strategy formulation, and plan development for execution of the strategy.

Board of Directors: William Allerheiligen

Bill has been the Director of the Fitness Center at McHenry County College and adjunct instructor since 1999. His duties include all aspects of operating a college/community fitness center, being lead instructor for a Health and Human Performance course with over 600 students each year, serving on various college committees and conducting community fitness seminars.

Bill received his BS in Physical Education from the University of Nebraska in 1978 and a MS in Physical Education from the University of Wyoming in 1992, with a major in Psychomotor Development.

Bill is a founding member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) where he has served two terms on the Board of Directors. He has served a term as the President of the NSCA and two terms on the NSCA Certification Commission Executive Council. Bill was voted National Strength Coach of the Year in 1988.

His work experience includes being an assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Nebraska and head strength and conditioning coach at Kansas State, Notre Dame, Houston Oilers, Wyoming and the University of Arkansas-Little Rock. He has also trained four world champion boxers.

Bill is a member of the Woodstock Assembly of God in Woodstock IL. During this time Bill has served one term as Deacon and worked with the Men's Ministry. While at Kansas State, Wyoming and University of Arkansas-Little Rock, Bill was faculty advisor for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Crystal Mitchell

Crystal has a background in education. She earned a BA in Elementary education from Judson College in 1996 and a Masters in Educational Leadership from National Louis University in 2003. Additionally, she is a 2008 graduate of Leadership Greater McHenry County.

She has served as a teacher's aid, first grade teacher in the Crystal Lake School District 47 and is currently the Assistant Principal at Husmann Elementary School in Crystal Lake, IL.

She has served two terms as the Director of Sunday School for the Woodstock Assembly of God Church. The first term was from 1995-1999 and the second started in 2003 and continues to the present. She has also been a small group leader and continues to be a worship leader.

William Wilson

Bill is a native of Illinois having graduated from Seneca High School and attended Lewis University where he earned a degree in Aerospace Technology. He spent four years in the Air Force and received his honorable discharge in 1975. He has been married to his wife, Nancy, for twenty six years and they have two children and three grandchildren.

He is a licensed Airframe and Power plant mechanic for Northwest Airlines and has worked for them since 1981. He was the Vice President of the 10,000 member Machinist Union and has served as a workplace negotiator/arbitrator and conflict resolution counselor.

Bill is a member of the Seneca, IL American Legion. He is the past President of the Jaycees and Lions Club in Seneca and currently is a Deacon on the Board of the Woodstock Assembly of God Church.

Michael Lightfoot

Michael is an attorney whose private practice focuses on the protection if intellectual property and strategic partnering agreements for public Fortune 500 corporations and startup companies.

Michael has served as senior attorney for Motorola's Research and Development organization for 11 years, representing R&D business units worldwide in technology acquisitions, licensing and business negotiations. In this role, he developed a comprehensive business plan that raised $10.4M for a three year product development and marketing project.

Michael has extensive business development experience, serving as Business Development VP at Invention Machine Corp. where he developed and administered the company's two largest national account client relationships.

In addition to his law degree from Northern Illinois University, Michael earned a BS from Lewis University in Computer Science.
